I handed in my notice today. Scary and exciting in equal measure. I'm moving to a large practice much nearer home, I'll be able to cycle to work along the River, and I'll have enough time in the evenings to take an class in dressmaking, do some more knitting, make that elusive patchwork quilt I've been thinking about forever and, well, whatever it is people do with there evenings!
This is what Miles had ready for me when I visited last Friday when he found out I'd got the job.

He did well!
More on this topic soon. Right now I'm going to read my new copy of 'No Sheep for You' and do a little knitting.

Yay congrats on the new job and more time for craftiness. Was lovely to see you at the weekend. xx
Congratulations! Hope you enjoy your new found free time (I know you will). :)x
Congratulations! Cutting down your commute is one of the best things you can do if you live and work in London. Or indeed, anywhere!
Yay!! New job and man who loves you. Your life is moving in the right direction, peanut. And when you move in with me, your life will be complete. Not to mention that my sister's sprog-in-situ needs lots of boy knits, so that will keep you busy!!
;-)
big hugs
